The price you see is not the price you pay.
Storage is sold on the first month — “$1 move-in”, “50% off”. What you actually pay is decided later, by fees at the counter and a rent increase a few months after your things are inside. We show the real six-month cost, city by city.
How it works
Start with the real rate
We average the typical street rate for each unit size from two or three public price sources — not the promo.
Add what comes later
A half-price first month, then the full rate, then a typical 30% existing-customer increase from month five.
Include the fees
An admin fee and a monthly protection plan. Divide by six: that is the true monthly cost.
Cities

A gentle note. Storage prices change daily and vary by facility, floor and season. Nothing here is a quote, an offer or financial advice — it is a way to compare like with like: the month-four price, not the month-one price.
